The Spanish golf course architect Ignacio García has been invited to design a new golf course in the areas that the promoter Armilar-Procam has acquired close to Mijas’s Racetrack in the province of Málaga.
It will be the second golf course of 9 holes that Ignacio García will design in the Golf Valley at Mijas in 2003.
he architect initiated recently the first design, Cerrado del Águila Golf, situated in the next sector to the areas that Armilar-Procam has acquired (the top illustration shows an aerial photography of the racetrack, the acquired areas and the design of the golf course initiated in the adjacent sector).
Recursos Turísticos de Mijas, proprietary company of Mijas’s Racetrack, sold the attached areas to the sports installation to the promoter Armilar-Procam (Caixa Catalunya), by twenty million of Euros.
Mijas assures the viability of the racetrack with the sale of these areas.
