The architect Ignacio García has initiated the project of the Orthodox Russian Church promoted by the Foundation Iniciativa Ortodoxa in Marbella.
The first technical document made by the architect for the Board of the Foundation informs about all the circumstances observed in the plot of land and the urban rules that regulate the building of the new temple. The Ignacio García’s architecture study will elaborate the architectonic project of the church and the project of urbanization of the urban area where is the plot of land.
Ignacio García confirmed that the Town hall of Marbella has initiated the process to yield a plot of land for the construction of the temple of the Orthodox Russian Church. The architect consulted to the General Manager of Urban matters and to the municipal architect in order to know the urban characteristics of the plot of land.
The plot of land, with more than two thousand five hundred square meters of surface and views towards to the Mediterranean Sea, is in San Pedro de Alcántara. The plot of land is a System of Public and Social Interest and is in the heart of an area not urbanized that is called “Linda Vista Norte”.
Ignacio García informed to the Board of the Foundation: “Before the construction of the temple, the Foundation will have to build the urban access and services to the church´s plot of land”.
Services of supply of drinkable water, of evacuation of waste water, supply of electrical energy, of low tension, public system of illumination and telecommunications.
In the next weeks the technical services of the Town hall will inform to the Foundation about the scope of the works of urbanization.
