In the interview granted to La Opinión de Málaga, the priest commented that the orthodox Russian community is going to build a temple at the Costa del Sol, a place of physical and spiritual meeting of the community, in a zone of Spain where every year is increasing the number of believers.
The temple that will be constructed in Marbella is going to be the first in the province of Málaga – also the first in Andalusia.
The parish, with nine years of antiquity, has celebrated the liturgies and other events in the room of a hotel in Benalmádena and, more recently, in a place rented in San Pedro de Alcántara.
Our Russian community has big supports in Russia and in Spain, said Dmitry Osipenko.
Two important supports of the project of the new orthodox temple in the province of Málaga are the company directed by Ekaterina Surgutánova, Russian Communications in Spain, and Unis Properties, agency of real estate directed by Anna Karpenko.
