In the past four months, Ignacio García made shorter the surface of occupation of the golf course belonging to the “Plan Parcial de Ordenación” of the sector “Cerro Piña” of the Mijas’s PGOU, reducing more than 133.000 m2 (13,30 hectares) the golf surface by request of the promoter Armilar-Procam, in order to increase the capacity of utilization of the sector up to 60,28 % of the surface of the total area.
The result is a golf design known as “Executive Golf Course” formed by 9 short holes, par 30, in 20 hectares of surface (the minimal surface demanded by the decree of golf in Andalusia).
