This Wednesday, Farma Química Sur Málaga and CB San Pedro 06-07 played a crucial basketball game at the San José School Pavilion in Málaga. The only two undefeated teams in the competition played for the lead in Group A and the duel did not disappoint anyone. The game was very close, from start to finish. The locals won the first quarter (15-13) and the second (20-15). However, the visitors improved their defense in the second half and won the third quarter (9-15) and the last (14-17), took the lead on the scoreboard in the last four minutes and achieved victory (58-60) thanks to the enormous cold blood of one of its players. Nicolás García Karpenko made two decisive free throws, under a lot of pressure and with one second left that closed the comeback at the last moment for the Sampedreños.
San Pedro is the undefeated and solo leader
After this latest victory, CB San Pedro 06-07 Rojo Junior, led by the well-known Croatian coach Davor Matkovic, remains firm as an undefeated team and leader of the Junior Gold League of Malaga.
