Pefaco Hotel Alima Palace initiated its start-up in March of this year and now it is open to the public.
This is a new Congolese hotel of 5 stars. It has 116 luxury rooms, 6 exclusive suites and a modern conference center. It is located at the entrance to the city of Oyo, a step away from the airport of Ollombo, in an environment nearly island due to the presence of the Komo River.
The opening ceremony was chaired by the Minister responsible for planning of the Presidency, Jean Jacques Bouya, in the company of the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Joshua Ngouonimba, and local authorities.
The construction of the hotel has cost 21 billion CFA francs and has 16,000 square meters built. The building has got a sewage plant and is equipped with a parking for over 200 vehicles, berth for pleasure craft, a swimming pool, two tennis courts and extensive green areas.The Alima palace is part of the emergence sector of a recreational and touristical industry in the Republic of the Congo, which in the words of its President, Denis Sassou Nguesso, “serves as a lever for the development of a diversified economy of income and sustainable jobs”.
The magnificent Palace could have a golf course designed by IGGA if the initiative of Pefaco Hotels, group of international renown in the hotel sector which is involved in the management of the hotel, materializing in the next few years.
