His coach Gerardo Páez, an admirer of Karpenko, has called him and offered him a place on the team with a full 100% E+D+I scholarship for the next two seasons.

Gerardo Páez’s Novaschool Junior has begun planning for next season with the aim of improving the current squad, with which it has achieved 3rd position in the Andalusian Championship and 11th position in the Spanish Championship in its category. To achieve this, Páez wants to add the best players to his roster. One of the most ambitious signings would be Karpenko, current Andalusian Champion #A8CM2023 with the Malaga men’s cadet team, under the orders of Gerardo Páez himself and the Málaga coach Javier Bautista, coordinator of the EBG Málaga club.

A few days before, one of the main players of the EBG Málaga 2008 men’s cadet team, a subsidiary of Unicaja Andalucía, and 3rd place in the Andalusian Championship men’s cadet category season 2023-2024, invited Karpenko to train in Los Guindos with the junior team principal of EBG Málaga with the purpose of being part of its staff in the 2024-2025 season.
