Karpenko is showered with offers

Karpenko could change the South for the Capital of Spain, Dallas or Los Angeles in the United States of America.

Nicolás García Karpenko could change the Málaga junior basketball league for the Madrid one, one of the most difficult in Spain, if not the most difficult and competitive of all, next season 2024-2025. Or by one of the state leagues of Texas and California in the United States. Two private high schools in Dallas and Los Angeles want Karpenko on their teams next season. Their invitations are attractive and generous, especially the one that includes a full scholarship of 100% of the player’s sports and educational expenses during each season.

Karpenko wants to finish his sports training in Europe before going to the United States

The young basketball player, only 16 years old, like any other boy his age, dreams of playing in the United States someday. However, Karpenko’s landing on American soil seems not to be next season, despite having the opportunity to do so. The Andalusian champion wants to finish his European sports training first and will give priority to offers from Spain.

Nicolás García Karpenko has finished this season and put an end to his time in Marbella as a CB San Pedro player. He leaves an important legacy to the Sampedreño club, numerous successes in three seasons, the most recent achieved on May 1, less than a month ago, Málaga Provincial Champion of 3×3 Clubs, the first that a Club Baloncesto San Pedro team wins in the 3×3 category. In addition, he has achieved a pass to the Andalusian Championship, the only Club Baloncesto San Pedro team that has played there in the last 19 years.

Karpenko is considering the possibility of continuing his training during the 2024-2025 season in one of the three best basketball academies in the capital of Spain that have shown interest in him. It would be the first basketball club for Karpenko in Madrid and the fourth in Spain, after five years in Málaga with CB San Pedro during the 2021-2024 seasons, CD Marbella in the 2020-2021 season and CB Marbella in the 2019-2020 season unfinished due to Covid-19.

Five basketball teams want him

In this season, Karpenko has not gone unnoticed. A player of his projection doesn’t come out every day. In addition, with an Andalusian Champion title with the Malaga team and experience with the Andalusian team.

Of the teams interested in Madrid, there are three that have already knocked on his door and offered him a change of scenery. They are Zentro Basket Madrid, Pablo Laso Academy and Movistar Estudiantes. Precisely, Ramiro’s team was ahead of the rest on the day of the Tryouts in Madrid and gave a reversible kit to Karpenko.

Three great basketball teams from the capital dream of convincing Karpenko, but they are not the only ones.

In the land of opportunity, where the American dream of the basketball player is still alive, the Head Coach of the basketball team at North Central Texas Academy, a private Christian High School located in Granbury, Dallas, Texas, has made no secret of his desire to sign Karpenko and has offered a 100% full sports and educational scholarship. The successes of the NCTA basketball program include five consecutive men’s state championships, and several players went on to play on college basketball teams. Also joining this list is the basketball team of Village Christian School, another private Christian High School located in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, California, which proposes to reinforce the team with Karpenko to win the state championship next season.
